President Donald Trump Requests an audit that could kill the high-speed rail proposal in California, which has been going on for almost two decades and has made very little progress.
Many union employees who have dependent on the federal rescue lines turned out to the Union Station in Los Angeles on Thursday to throw tomatoes and Heckle transport secretary Sean Duffy out, since his department will result in the indictment how the funds be used.
“There have been 17 years and 16 billion US dollars and no rail was built,” said Duffy, while the demonstrators were in the room and reacted to his comments.

“So if you want to protest somewhere, if you want to shout someone, go to the governor’s villa – talk to Democrats in the legislative that brought us this shitty project,” he added.
In particular, the secretary would like to investigate whether it has bound shady business transactions with the previous failure of the rail project. From January, the state will advertise a small development in the Bakersfield section of the project.
“No state in America is closer at the start of high-speed rails than California and today we have just taken a massive step forward. We move into the track laying phase, complete structures for important segments and lay the basics for a high-speed rail network” , Governor Gavin Newsom said in an explanation last month.
“The future of transport is realized here in Central Valley with thousands of already created jobs and 171 miles. Like only California, we are building America’s largest infrastructure project,” he added.
Federal taxpayers almost spent 3 billion US dollars for the project – With another 4 billion US dollars, which President Joe Biden promised, but not already issued. The exam could provide Trump’s legal authority to cling to this money.
Nevertheless, there is almost nothing to show for the project that is expected to cost 106 billion US dollars in order to achieve its final goal of extending from Los Angeles to San Francisco, says The Associated Press. Proponents have argued that the California rail, one of the largest states in the country, would be more connected.

“We have been fighting this catastrophic project for years, and thanks to secretary Duffy and President Trump, we finally have the opportunity to put it to the end,” he told Fox News Digital.
“I am not sure why someone would be for what is going on in California. We waste taxpayers’ money on an epic scale and get nothing for it,” he added.

In addition, Congressman Young Kim, R-Calif argued.
“We will see whether this investigation leads to fraud and waste. If there is fraud, I know that this is probably in the areas of the question. The high-speed rail project is somehow involved in this process,” she said.
