A California Democrat said Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, The 13-year-old boy with cancer, who was honored with the congress during the speech by President Donald Trump.

Rep. Ro Khanna said the interaction with the flight attendant he identified as Jim Barrett had unfolded in Chicago.

“Mister, I am a democrat But the way the party behaved was embarrassing. Made us look heartless. I don’t care who is up there, they stand for the boy with cancer, “Khanna recalled Barrett.” Be more rational and put your plot together. ”

“I replied that some of us are standing and clapping and we have to be the party, which is still in kind, and tried to bring people together,” he added X.

Daniel received standing ovation from a majority of the crowd, although some Democrats were seen in front of the camera at different times while Trump spoke about the 13-year-old.

“To be honest, there were moments when I was supposed to prevent some of the actions that have taken place in the past few months and a half months, some of my colleagues to support little DJ Daniel,” said Rep. Laura Gillen, a democrat from New York, also said to New York this week.

“I got up and applauded that this little boy who could get over cancer would like to become a police officer – and I was disappointed that I was not accompanied by any of my colleagues,” she added.
