Billy Horschel was among them, but he was in an unpleasant situation.
On the 10th hole in Par-4 Horschel hit his tee too far to the right, and it hit a fan into the leg and jumped back towards Fairway before setting up in the Rough.
He didn’t know at the time, but Horschel was informed when he approached the ball that he had met the woman.
So he signed her leg and the two hug each other.
It was just one of the recordings of a hard day for Horschel, who shot an even round, but was bound to 51st place with nine others.

The RBC heir is the fifth signature event, so there is no cut line. So Horschel still has the chance from outside to invent some ground.
