Several sharks were discovered on July 4 in New York City waters, which the city asked to close a temporary section of the beach in Queens.
The video that is divided into social media shows a sharks that swims near beach visitors in Far Rockaway, Queens.
The beasts were discovered around 11:30 a.m. near Beach 32nd Street. A further sighting was reported in Beach 144th Street and a third in Beach 30th Street, wrote KAZ Daughtry, the deputy mayor of the city for public security, about X.

“These sightings were very close to the beach visitors. Thanks to the drone technology, the lifeguard swimmer and the committed experts from @nycemergecymt, we all keep it safe to enjoy the vacation,” said Daughtry. “B30 was closed for an hour. But is now open again. We will continue to monitor the beach and keep everyone up to date.”
Christina Farrell, the first deputy commissioner for NYC emergency managementsaid the drone unit of the agency monitored shark activity to protect everyone.
At the beginning of this week, New York governor Kathy Hochul calmed the New Yorkers that the authorities took measures before the holiday weekend for monitors on the beaches of the state, especially on Long Island.

“Our beaches of Long Island State Park are appreciated by New York and visitors alike – perfect places to go offline, go outside and enjoy nature,” said Governor Kathy Hochul in a statement on Wednesday.
“We further strengthen our surveillance skills and security tactics for sharks on these beaches to protect these estimated summer traditions,” she added. “I encourage all beach visitors to stay safe, to stay vigilant and always follow the direction of lifeguards and parking staff.”
The Commissioner of the New York State Park Pro Tem Randy Simons said that his agency was well prepared to bring beach visitors to safety.
