Jared Leto is the big villain of the He-Man film

The Master of the Universe The film has found someone for Nicholas Galitzine beat up: the Hollywood Reporter has learned that Jared Leto has signed on to play Legendary He-Man Villain Skeletor in Travis Knight’s long-winded version of Beloved Advertising for cartoons/toys.

Leto joins a number of villain casting announcements for the film, casting not only Skeletor himself, but a whole host of the dark wizard’s sidekicks. In addition to what has already been announced Alison Brie as Evil LynSkeletor’s second-in-command Sam C. Wilson will play Trap Jaw, the cyborg warrior with the fearsome bite; Hafthor Bjornsson will play Goat Man, an animal underling of, well, Beast Man; and Kojo Attach will play Tri-Klops, the many-eyed spymaster who uses his various visions to spy on the masters of the universe for Skeletor.

It’s a big boost to the villainous side of Knight’s take on the world of Eternia, which has already begun RiverdaleThis is Camilla Mendes And Idris Elba as two of Prince Adam’s closest allies, Teela and Man-at-Arms respectively. But now we may be more interested in what absurd methodological approach Leto will succeed more than anything at playing a guy with a skull for a head Master of the Universe could be coming our way before the June 5, 2026 release date.
