Locations were selected by Usnews, Forbes.com, IBTimes, Realestateews.com, Architectural Digest, Cntraveller, Usnews & Travel, Tourscanner, WorldWildschooling and Timeout.com to find the most beautiful places in the USA. Several factors were found for each location, including the total population, the population from the age of 65, the total households and the middle income of the household, all of which come from the US community survey of the US volume. The cost of living costs were taken from sparrow best places and include food, health, residential construction, supply companies, transport and various living costs. The average expenditure costs for each location can be calculated based on the cost of living and the national average output costs, such as from the consumer expenditure of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The Livability Index was taken from Areavibes for every location. The average single -family house value was collected from the Zillow Home value index for March 2025. Using the average family home, assuming a number of 10% and the latest average 30-year fixed mortgage, which is taken from the Federal Reserve’s economic data, the average mortgage can be calculated.
