According to the ICE recruitment website, new civil servants are offered competitive salaries, paid federal holidays and a complete federal performance package that resembles health, dental, vision and life insurance, an old-age provision plan and an economy plan that is similar to a 401 (K). Additional incentives can include tuition fees, transport subsidies, television options and access to fitness centers.
The fleet rollout coincides with an increase in the visible federal police in the country’s capital. President Trump temporarily took control of the DCS Metropolitan Police Department 30 days. According to DHS, ICE will reinforce the MPD patrols and Manning -City control points together with agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration, the FBI and the National Guard.
