Two police officers in Utah who were killed in a shootout During the response to a domestic call to fault on Sunday evening, identified.
Sgt. Lee Sorensen, 56, and officer Eric Estrada, 31, the Police department of Tremonton Garland If both were killed in a house in a quarter of Tremonton, the department said.
“These officers are definitely heroes,” said police chief Chad Reyes in the neighboring city of Brigham, the agency that heads the investigation at a press conference on Monday morning.
The police received several emergency calls for 911 in a house in Tremonton at 9:30 p.m.. An officer from Tremonton Garland came first and spoke to someone at home when an armed man came out with a weapon, the authorities said.

The man opened the fire to the officer and hit and killed him. A second Tremonton Garland officer who was immediately dismissed and killed by the first officer “was released by the same male suspect”, said Brigham’s police department in a press release.
Sorensen worked in law enforcement agencies for 17 years, 16 of which were in the Garland police department. He received several honors for his respected service and effects and was recently promoted to the Sergeant, with a waste planned for Friday.
He is survived by his wife Lanette and her children.

Estrada started his career as a law enforcement agency in 2017 and served at the Logan Police Department before he came to the Sheriff’s office of the Box Elder County. At the beginning of this year he joined the Tremonton police department.
The police described Estrada as a “committed father and husband, deeply loving and treasures his family. “ The press release said: “He loved to interact with people and to deal with the community” while he was on patrol.

The 31-year-old officer is survived by his wife Brittney and two children Cienna and Luka.
A member of the Sheriff of the Box Elder County also replied and was still released in his vehicle with his service dog. The wounded MP was released from the hospital on Monday, and the dog was taken to the hospital in fair state, the police said.

After the officials were shot, the spectators persuaded the man to put down his gun, the police said. Up to 50 officials from several agencies answered. Swat teams arrived to clear the house and check whether there was no further threat, the police said.
The male suspect arose from the authorities and was taken into custody. He was charged with tightened murderthe police said.
The authorities did not immediately publish the name of the suspect.

Utah governor Spencer Cox called the shootout “a terrible and tragic night”. In an online contribution, he wrote that the state will mourn the loss “of these courageous law enforcement officers” and ordered to flew half a season in their honor.
