Hamas writes letter to Trump seeking 60-day pause in hostilities

Hamas wrote a letter to President Donald Trump and asked the American president to guarantee a 60-day ceasefire in an exchange for the immediate publication of half of the hostages recorded in Gaza.

The letter is expected to be delivered to Trump this week.

Trump, who tried to help on the global stage as a peace pier, previously asked Hamas to publish all hostages that were captured during the hideous attack against Israel on October 7, 2023.
