North Carolina governor signs Iryna’s Law despite criticisms of Republican bill

“Finally, we get dangerous criminals from our streets so that we can make sure that nobody else suffers from the heartache that Iyna Zarutska’s family endured,” said the Republican representative of the Republican of Charlotte, Tricia Cotham, who was involved in the legislation in a press release.
