Citi increases the price target of Aegon (AEG) to EUR 7.69 and reiterates its buy recommendation

Aegon Ltd. (NYSE:AEG) received a price target upgrade from Citigroup on November 17, with the company raising its estimate from EUR6.38 to EUR7.69 while reiterating its Buy rating, according to a report by The Fly.

In the third quarter of 2025, management noted that Transamerica, its largest unit, continued to expand its WFG distribution network and maintained its commercial momentum while life and annuity sales increased. In the UK, the company suffered some outflows after abandoning two large low-margin programs, although Aegon noted that its wealth management and international businesses continued to expand.

Aegon Ltd. (NYSE:AEG) also emphasized that its business remained well capitalized during the period. Operating capital generation remained strong across the portfolio and Leaders⁠hip believes they are on track to achieve their overall OCG target of €1.2 billion for 2025.

Retirement plans reported an 11% increase in gross deposits, supported by higher acquisition deposits in both large and mid-sized markets, supported by healthy written sales in prior quarters. Written sales continued to look solid and should continue to support gross deposits going forward. Total net outflows improved to $1.6 billion, which the company attributed to the shift to fewer major market plan dis‍c‌ontin‌uances.
