“The View” co-host Joy Behar already mourned President Biden’s absence from the White House after the president’s farewell speech on Thursday, saying, “I miss him already.”
“I miss him. He is a good person. You know, he’s been taking care of the land for the last 50 years. This other one.” [Donald Trump] I spent 50 years cheating everyone and trying to stay out of prison. You know who I’m talking about. I really miss Biden. I felt like we were safe, like I didn’t have to worry about anything exploding? I was able to live my life while he was there,” Behar said.
“Every day I wake up and ask myself, ‘What is this guy going to do next?’” she said of new President Donald Trump.
Biden gave a farewell speech on Wednesday that lasted targeting “oligarchs.”

In his farewell address, the president warned Americans of a “dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a few very wealthy people.”
“I would like to warn the country about a few things that are of great concern to me. … This is a dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a few super-rich people. “The dangerous consequences if their abuse of power goes unchecked,” he said.
Liberal media presenters praised the president’s speech, which commentators called one of the “best,” “most memorable” and “most sober” speeches of his life.
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow focused primarily on the parts of Biden’s speech in which he warned of a tech “oligarchy” threatening the country and raised concerns about the free press after Meta announced it would increase fact-checking on his social media -Adjust platforms.
“It’s simple and matter-of-fact, and like I said, it sent a chill down my spine,” Maddow said. “I think he’s right and I’m glad he took the time to say it.”

Behar, a big Biden fan and major Trump critic, also called out country music Star Carrie Underwood on Tuesday for agreeing to perform at Trump’s inauguration.
“She says, ‘I love our country.’ How can you love your country and support and normalize someone who was a convicted felon who really wants to destroy the country? In my opinion, I don’t understand how you can say you love your country and at the same time normalize this convicted felon,” Behar said.

“I wouldn’t be the person to say don’t do it because I believe in free speech and everything that goes with it. Personally I wouldn’t do it. Nobody asked me, but that’s another story,” Behar said, noting that she would never appear in person at Trump’s inauguration.
