Sting postponed several concerts due to a temporary sore throat.
On Tuesday, the veteran musician’s team took to social media to announce the postponement and postponement information.
“On the advice of his doctor, Sting must express his sincere regrets due to his illness cancel his appearance at the Bass Magazine Awards this Thursday and is postponing its STING 3.0 concerts in Phoenix, AZ (originally scheduled for January 24th) to June 1st and Wheatland, CA (originally scheduled for January 26th) to June 28th. On Wednesday, Sting thanked his fans for their concern and shared more details about his illness.
“Thank you for all the congratulations,” he wrote on Instagram. “I am steadily recovering from a temporary sore throat that has prevented me from singing, although I look forward to resuming my performances and rescheduled shows soon. Love, Sting.”

In October 2018, Sting a joint concert canceled with Jamaican singer Shaggy just an hour before the show was scheduled to begin in San Francisco due to health reasons. Sting issued a statement at the time saying, “I’m sorry to have to postpone tonight’s show… but I can barely speak at the moment. We will arrange a new appointment as soon as possible.”
