Former President Joe Biden said that he was not surprised that former Vice President Kamala had lost Harris against President Donald Trump Responsible in the 2024 presidential election, which blame the loss of sexism and racism.
Co-presenter Sara Haines asked the president whether he was surprised that Harris lost to Trump in November and found the optimism among the Democrats after bidding had decided to leave the race.
“I was not surprised because I didn’t think the Vice President was the most qualified person that was the president. Mrs. the mixed breed,” replied Biden.

“Anyway, do a long story short, everything joked, think about it. The liberal democracies last time lost all over America. I think we underestimate the phenomenal negative effects that covid had, and pandemic had people who were at the attitude, with attitude, optimism, with a whole series of things that were very disappointed, it was surprised.”
After Biden left the race on July 21, about a month after a catastrophic debate against Trump, he supported Harris to take his place on the ticket.
Biden was asked if he had recently spoken to Harris about her next steps. The former president said Harris had caught up with his opinion on the next step, but would not show what it was.

Bidens seat with “The view” came after the president sat for an interview With the BBC, in which he spoke about Trump’s foreign policy and his decision to leave the race when he did.
The former president told the BBC that it would not have “important” if he got out of the race earlier.
“We left at a time when we had a good candidate,” said Biden and spoke of Harris.
“It was a difficult decision,” said Biden about the outcome of his decision to leave the race. “I think it was the right decision. It was just a difficult decision.”

Biden argued that his term was so successful that it was difficult to immediately hand over the lead to a new generation, as he originally intended.
“Nobody thought what we had planned, we could do,” he said. “I would be so successful in our agenda that it was difficult to say: ‘I’ll stop now.’ I meant what I said when I started to prepare myself to hand over this to the next generation, the government’s transition.
