Ozzy Osbourne reunited weeks before his death with Black Sabbath, a show that last time that bassist Terence “Geezer” Butler would see his long -time friend.
Butler remembered his time at Osbourne – almost six decades after the band was founded in 1968 – and the importance of her last show near her hometown.
The prince of darkness died On Tuesday, July 22nd, after a number of health problems had fought over the years. He was 76.

The bass player noticed that Ozzy was a “born entertainer” who “did something to laugh”. He shaped his friend the “prince of laughter”.
Before the July 5 concert, Butler admitted that he was aware that the main person had health problems, but he was shocked to see how “frail” Ozzy had become in his recent days.
“I knew he wasn’t in good health, but I was not ready to see how frail he was” The Sunday times.

“It was helped by two helpers and a nurse into the rehearsal room and used a stick – as an ozzy the stock was black and filled with gold and gemstones.”
Butler continued: “He didn’t really say much about the usual greetings and when he sang, he was sitting in a chair. We ran through the songs, but we could see that it was exhausting after six or seven songs. We had a bit of conversation, but he was very quiet compared to Ozzy of Alt. After a few weeks we were ready for the show.”

The 10-hour show was moderated by Jason Momoa and showed appearances by Metallica, Guns N ‘Roses, Jack Black, Steven Tyler and other. At a point during the show that was Livestream in Great Britain, the legendary drummer, including the Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Blink-182, Travis Barker, fought with their drum sticks while playing a cover of Sabbath’s “Symptom of the Universe”.
For the final set, the legendary rock star was lifted onto the stage while sitting on a black throne, accompanied by skulls and crowned with a black racket. He sang hits like “Crazy Train” and “Mama I’m, I come home” while he stayed sitting throughout the set.

“You have no idea how I feel,” said Osbourne of the crowd. “Thanks from the heart.”
Butler remembered the “strangest part of the show was the end”.

“Usually we all hugged each other and bow to the audience,” wrote Butler. “But Ozzy was on his throne and we didn’t think that. What do we do? Tony shook his hand, I presented him with a cake, but it was such a strange feeling to end our story like this.
“I wish I had more time behind the stage with Ozzy, but the wishes are now superfluous. As Ozzy always said: ‘Wish in one hand and in the other hand and see what comes first.'”

Butler added: “Nobody knew that he would have disappeared from us more than two weeks after the last show. But I am so grateful that we were allowed to play together in front of his beloved fans one last time. Love from the fans and all bands, musicians, singers and solo artists that night was incredible.

“Everyone had come to pay homage to the prince. I am so privileged to have spent most of my life with him. Of course there are millions of things that I will think that I should have written it, but how can I summarize 57 incredible years of friendship in a few heels?
Ozzy was born in Aston, West Midlands, Great Britain, and was attracted to the theater as a child, but he ultimately turned to music after hearing a certain song by The Beatles.

“When I heard that she loved you, my world went like a shooting star,” Osbourne said to Esquire. “It was a divine experience. The planets changed. I have always changed that Paul McCartney would marry my sister.”
After Osbourne left the school as a teenager, he spent six weeks in prison after being convicted of robbery of a clothing business. In 1967 he was recruited by Butler as a singer in a band that would become black Sabbath.

“Survival is my inheritance,” he said to People magazine. “I mean, I’m 73. People go: ‘Well, you are 70 … Why don’t I throw the towel into it?’ Why should I still buy my records.
Osbourne is survived by Ms. Sharon, daughters Kelly and Aimee and son Jack in addition to daughter Jessica and the sons Elliot and Louis from his first marriage to Thelma Riley.
