The extent of radicalization and Hatred of Jews in America cannot be underestimated. It has been systematized in our education from kindergarten to college. It has become normal in our media and our daily lives.
Progressive politicians and academics are accelerating the entrenchment of an anti-American agenda to destroy our democratic values and replace them with failed Marxist-Islamist ideologies. “Death to America“ and “Death to the Jews” were constantly shouted on our streets and campuses by people carrying Hamas and ISIS flags.

The so-called Intifada has become globalized and its effects are felt all over the world Streets of New Orleans and on our campus. The Trump administration has promised to deploy the necessary tools – and people – to coordinate a cross-government approach to address this crisis.
In previous administrations, the government office tasked with combating anti-Semitism was the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism, an ambassadorial role whose primary responsibility is to track anti-Semitism worldwide and represent the United States in addressing the issue internationally. However, the Special Envoy will not be seen as a moral authority if we are unable to effectively combat extremism within our borders.

Given the scale of the problem and the fact that domestic anti-Semitism is inextricably linked to systemic radicalization, the role of the Special Envoy must either be expanded to combat domestic Jew-hatred and its causes, or the government would benefit from an additional position – an “anti-Semitism -Tsar”, who is supposed to coordinate the government’s response in his own country.
Modern anti-Semitism in America stems from a broader anti-American ideology often referred to as “progressive.” It has adopted elements of Marxism, embraced radical Islam and promoted narratives of “oppression” to justify violent actions. Such radicalization has taken root in our media, in academia, and among certain people in government. This is reflected in the doctrine of diversity equity and inclusion, critical race theory, efforts to defund the police, and the occupation of campus campuses.
During the Biden-Harris administration, we have seen a troubling upsurge in domestic ideologies justifying the murders of insurance executives in New York and pedestrians in New Orleans and advocating Hamas’ kidnapping of American hostages as “resistance by all means.”

President-elect Trump has demonstrated unwavering moral clarity by addressing Jew-hatred as part of the larger, more systemic problem and has made protecting the civil rights of Jewish Americans a central part of his vision to restore democracy and make America great again.
An “enhanced” special envoy or anti-Semitism czar would coordinate federal law enforcement’s response to Jew hatred and its underlying causes, ensure the National Guard is deployed when necessary, root out malevolent foreign influence and dark money, help prosecute unregistered foreign agents, Coordinate investigations into shady organizations that parrot terrorist propaganda and oversee Office of Civil Rights investigations to ensure that Jew hatred is stopped end is set.
After October 7, 2023, people will become aware of the threat that anti-Jewish hatred poses not only to Jews and Israel, but also to the stability of the West.
Many of the tools that previous administrations have used to combat anti-black extremism can also effectively combat Jew-hatred: ensuring that the FBI opens field offices where they are most needed, providing resources to ensure that federal laws are enforced and loopholes are closed in laws that have allowed Jew-haters and other fanatics to escape the legal consequences for their actions.
It is of utmost importance to establish the connection between international law and domestic radicalization, particularly in light of efforts to pervert international law and delegitimize Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorism. These actions serve as justification for domestic radicalization and as motivating factors for acts of domestic anti-Semitism.

After October 7, 2023, people will become aware of the threat that anti-Jewish hatred poses not only to Jews and Israel, but also to the stability of the West. The call for genocide against the Jews is part of the broader call for the destruction of Western democracy, and I have long held that combating anti-Jewish hatred must be an essential part of addressing the problems affecting all minority communities and preserving the Civil rights of all Americans.

President-elect Trump has outlined several critically important measures to combat Jew hatred, including denying accreditation and federal financial support to universities that continue to allow anti-Semitism, revoking visas for foreign students involved in pro-Hamas activities and the ban on the resettlement of refugees from terrorist hotspots such as Gaza.

Americans voted for Trump because they believed he could achieve this, and I have every reason to believe he can. Like me, he understands that anti-Semitism is not just an attack on the Jewish people. It is an attack on all of us. Expanding the role of the special envoy or appointing an anti-Semitism czar would be monumental.
Whatever option President-elect Trump chooses, treating Jew hatred as a domestic civil rights issue with national security implications will be critical to an effective approach.
