Canada appointed a fentanyl tender on Tuesday according to a deal with US President Donald Trump to avoid additional tariffs Canadian imports.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Chose Kevin Brosau, who has spent decades with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, for the position that is supposed to work with the USA to “recognize, disturb and dismantle the fentanyling trade”. Its appointment is immediately effective.
Brosau has extensive experience in law enforcement after working as a deputy commissioner and commander in Manitoba during his career as a mountain. Most recently, he worked with Trudeau as a deputy national security and intelligence consultant.
