The celebration resulted in a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, but it made no difference to the veteran kicker Harrison Butker, who made the extra point attempt.
During the pregame broadcast on Prime Video, Gonzalez vowed to pay Kelce’s fine if he replicated his famous touchdown celebration.
“I’m so happy for him. He’s one of the best tight ends there’s ever been.” [and] “Off the field,” he said. “I’ve been following him since he was a freshman and it doesn’t surprise me.” He’s one of the greatest tight ends of all time.

“If he dunks it, I’ll pay the fine.”
Kelce responded to Gonzalez’s post on X, celebrating the win and reminding him of the offer he made before the game.
“You know I had to show my love to the greatest of all time,” Kelce wrote. “But you mentioned that you would help me with the fine.”
