China Agrees to Curb Fentanyl Chemicals After FBI Visit

China has agreed to tighten the chemicals used to make fentanyl following a visit from FBI Director Kash Patel, he announced Wednesday.

“That was the sole purpose of my trip to China, to eliminate these precursors. And if we succeed, we would stifle the ability of drug trafficking organizations to produce fentanyl in countries like Mexico,” Patel told reporters during a press briefing at the White House.
