Legendary College basketball During the championship of the Atlantic Coast Conference at the Atlantic Coast, the announcer was moved to tears on Saturday evening when he thought about his latest cancer battle and what it meant to be back to the Court of Justice after he announced that he was free of cancer in December.
The 85-year-old announcer by Dave O’Brien and Cory Alexander von Espn was in the last moments of the first half of the Duke-Louisville Finale.

“It’s my last game this year and I am praying, hopefully I can be back next year, maybe even better – maybe even better,” said Vitale and thanked everyone who helped with this process.

Vitals were operated on last summer to remove Cancer lymph nodes From his neck. Previously, he was treated for melanoma and lymphoma and had radiation treatments for vocal cable cancer last year.

“It was a miracle for me to really sit with you here,” continued vital tearful. “I can’t tell you how much it meant for me. It was incredible. A difficult three years. These four cancer fights. I don’t wish anyone. Cancer is shit.”
“I will tell you that everyone is fighting cancer, please listen to: Always think positively and have believed and believe.”

Vitale said the ACC final on Saturday would be its last season season. He used to say to X that due to instructions from the doctor, he could only announce one game a week.
