Florida Gov. Ron DesantisA Republican said on Friday that the state returned to the federal government more than 878 million US dollars that he had tried to return during the bid administration in recent years.

Desantis suggested that other states should “follow Florida to support DOGE’s efforts!”
The governor’s office said in his e -mail to the finance department that it would look for additional excess federal funds that can be returned.
