In his second NFL start there was no magic for JJ McCarthy in the fourth quarter when the Atlanta Falcons dealt with the Minnesota Vikings On the street to win her first game of the season, 22-6.

But McCarthy’s opponentMichael Penix Jr. didn’t have the best games in the quarterback position either. Penix was only 13 out of 21 for 135 yards without touchdowns or interceptions. He also missed some litters that could have led to a touchdown as Tyler Allgere’s end of the fourth quarter that was the dagger for the falcons.

Allgeer’s five-yard-rush was the only touchdown for both teams in this game, as it was through a field goal fight, in which both teams had difficulty converting the chances of the red zone. Although the passing game for Atlanta was not efficient, Star, Running Back Bijan Robinson, took up 143 rushing yards on 22 runs to run the game in this category. Drake London was the leading recipient for the falcons with 49 meters on three receptions.
Justin Jefferson had 81 meters for the Vikings, although he only caught three passes. After McCarthy’s second intercept of the game on the last trip of the Vikings, Jefferson was noticeably frustrated on the sidelines on the sidelines, but who would not be if the offensive really clicked in the fourth quarter last week?
