The Nacelle Company-The Star Trek fanis the first port of call for collecting numbers some of the franchise’s most popular characters– made a grand appearance at New York Comic Con today, offering updates on its previously announced releases as well as some exciting new additions.
Although we love that there are several deep characters (Weyoun! No! A “Year of Hell”-specific “Janeway”) has been added to Nacelle’s lineup so far, and the company will soon have a few more familiar faces as well. Including this guy announced at NYCC today:
“Spock remains one of the most enduring characters not only in the Star Trek franchise, but in science fiction as a whole,” Nacelle reminds us in a press release. “The first look at the character gave fans a glimpse of the legendary Vulcan science officer in his classic attire.” Plus, check out the attention to detail in these accessories!
Nacelle also teased a Wave 4 entry: the one and only Jean-Luc Picard. No look at the figure yet, but check out his ship wall:
As you can see, the accessories are “inspired by his look in Star Trek: First Contact. The set adds new depth to this version of the legendary captain.”
In addition to the new reveals, Nacelle also offered updates for fans who were eagerly awaiting the characters from the first and second waves.
The Wave One figures are currently “in the final stages of production, with packaging complete and shipping scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025. The first wave includes Captain Jellico, Weyoun, Captain Garrett, Captain Sulu (star we draw), Peter Preston, Tuvix, Valkris and Mirror Universe Archer.” You can still secure pre-orders at Nacelle’s shop and other online retail outlets and independent toy stores in the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom and Australia.
For Wave Two, James T. Kirk pre-orders are officially open (generations), Kathryn Janeway (“Year of Hell” issue), Nog (“Favor the Bold” issue), T’Pol, Valeris, Romulan Commander, Carol Marcus, Bem, Worf (generations Sailor Edition) and Geordi La Forge (generations Sailor Edition). Details are Hereand they will be delivered in the third quarter of 2026.
“This is one of the biggest weeks we’ve had since launching the line,” Nacelle CEO Brian Volk-Weiss said in a press release. “Between pre-sales, long-awaited updates and new reveals, we wanted to give collectors everything they’ve been waiting for and hopefully a little more.”
“This line was built by Star Trek fans for Star Trek fans, and we know how eager the community has been to get their hands on Wave One,” said Volk-Weiss. “We are grateful for their patience and can’t wait for these figures to hit everyone’s shelves.”
While Nacelle continues to work on it Star Trek Line, you can actually sign up for fan feedback on future releases via the company’s dedicated email address: (email protected).
Looking at what’s already been announced and the deeply nerdy delights contained within –Kirk’s jar of dill weed! – there seems to be a good chance that all suggestions, no matter how unclear, will be taken into account.
