The Greenland Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen said on Sunday that the comments from US officials about the Arctic island were disrespectful and that the island cannot be bought in spite of the US president Donald TrumpHe repeatedly recorded the idea of buying the strategic territory.
Nielsen said that Greenland “will never be a piece of property that can be bought by everyone” when he stood in Frederiksens Marienborg von Denmark in Frederiksen during a joint press conference in Frederiks’s official residence in Lyngby, Denmark, Denmark.

“The talks from the United States were not respectful,” said Nielsen. “The words used were not respectful. That is why we need together in this situation.”

Political parties In Greenland, recently agreed to form a broad new coalition government in the middle of Trump’s destinations on the territory.

Nielsen’s three -day visit should address future cooperation between the two countries.
“Denmark has the will to invest in the Greenland society, and we not only have that for historical reasons. We also have it because we are part of the (Danish) Commonwealth together,” said Frederiksen.

“Of course we have the will to continue to invest in Greenland society,” she added.
Nielsen is scheduled to meet the Denmark king Frederik X on Monday before returning to Grönland with Frederik to visit a royal visit to the island.
Frederiksen and Nielsen were asked whether a meeting with you and Trump was planned.
