A ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, which was supposed to end the worst fights between the two nuclear for decades, seemed to be kept on Sunday, although everyone accused the other violations and had differed from what had been agreed.
India’s Foreign Minister Vikram Misri said late Saturday that “repeated violations of understanding had arrived tonight”.
“The forces give an appropriate and appropriate answer,” he said, adding: “We ask Pakistan to take suitable steps to tackle these violations.”
There were reports from India about violations of the ceasefire along the control line, which separates from Indians and Pakistani cashmere.
“This is not an armistice,” wrote Omar Abdullah, Prime Minister for Indian controlled Jammu & Kashmir in one post on X.
Pakistan denied violations and accused India against violations.
“Pakistan is still obliged to implement the armistice between Pakistan and India, which was previously announced today,” said the Pakistani Foreign Ministry on Saturday. “Regardless of the violations that India have committed in some areas, our armed forces treat the situation with responsibility and reluctance.”
The agreement described a standstill on a conflict that India, as an essential showdown with a country in which it was accused, supported cross -border terrorism, and that Pakistan said a justified defense against an aggressive India that had accused the crime that it had not committed.
In the past on Saturday, Ishaq, Pakistani Foreign Minister, wrote in a social media post that the countries had “agreed to an armistice with an immediate effect”.
“Pakistan has always tried for peace and security in the region without affecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity!” he wrote.
Around the same time, Misri said at a briefing in Neu-Delhi: “The general director of Pakistan’s military operations, which is described this afternoon at 3:35 p.m. as general director of the military operations in India.”
“It was agreed between them that both sides would stop all battles and military promotions on land and in the air and in the sea with effect from 17:00 hours.”
US President Donald Trump applied for the agreement in a social media contribution.
“After a long night full of conversations, which the United States conveyed, I am pleased to be able to tell you that India and Pakistan have approved a complete and immediate ceasefire,” wrote Trump in his social media portal. “Congratulations to both countries to use common sense and great intelligence. Thank you for your attention for this matter!”

Both countries claimed that civilians were killed by the other side.
Marco Rubio, US State Secretary, said in a statement that he and the Vice President JD Vance in the 48 hours with high-ranking officials from Indian and Pakistani officials, including the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a committee to end the fighting, with high-ranking civil servants and Pakistani officials would have hired.
The talks also included the national security advisors of the two countries, India’s Ajit Doval and Pakistan’s Asim Malik.
“I am pleased that the governments of India and Pakistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire and start discussions about a broad problem at a neutral location,” said Rubio.
However, an official of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the armistice was prepared directly between India and Pakistan at Islamabad’s initiative and Rubios claims that the two countries would now begin direct discussions.
The General Director of Pakistan initiated by military operations “the call this afternoon took place after the discussions and the understanding (was) achieved,” said the official, who did not want to be cited by name.
“There is no decision to have talks about another problem in another place,” added the official.
