King Charles III. Experienced side effects through its ongoing cancer treatment, which required a short stay in the hospital for observation on Thursday morning, said Buckingham Palace in a statement.
“After the planned and persistent medical treatment of cancer this morning, the king had temporary side effects that required a short observation period in the hospital,” said the palace.

The explanation added: “The obligations in the afternoon of his majesty were therefore postponed. His majesty has now returned to Clarence House. As a precaution, the tomorrow’s diary program is also classified as a precaution. His majesty wants to excuse everyone who is uncomfortable or disappointed.”
