The New York Knicks have fallen to a place that no team has ever overcome in NBA history.
After a historical collapse In game 1 of the final of the Eastern Conference to the Indiana Pacers, the Knicks game 2 slide through their fingers with a loss of 114-109.
No NBA team has ever lost the first two games at home and returned to win a series in the conference final.

Pascal Siakam scored 39 points with a playoff career and the Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 114-109 on Friday evening to take the lead in the final of the Eastern Conference.
“We still have a long way ahead of us and it is only more difficult for us,” said Siakam.
Myles Turner added 16 points and Tyrese Haliburton had 14 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds for the Pacers, who had lost in their only NBA final against the Lakers in 2000.
Siakam ended in one night, nobody else in the top -class Pacers, 15 for 23 for 23.
“Special game,” said Pacers coach Rick Carlisle. “In the first half he was the guy who got us running and brought us through some difficult distances.”
Jalen Brunson had 36 points and 11 assists for the Knicks who need a quick turn or the first appearance in the conference final in 25 years will be short. Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns each had 20 points and seven rebounds for the Knicks, but the cities only played 28 minutes when coach Tom Thibodeau with Backup Mitchell Robinson, a much better defender who scored nine rebounds longer.
“If you go to the fourth quarter, it is a TIE ball game. We just have to play better games and more competitions,” said Thibodeau.
