Alison Arngrim, who played in “Little House on the Prairie” when Nellie Oson, believes that there is an episode from the series that would not be done today.
In a recently carried out episode of the “Little House 50” The Podcast Arngrim spoke to host Pamela Bob and “Little House” Ko -Star Dean Butler about an episode from the fourth season of the show entitled “Here Come the Brides”, which was broadcast in 1977.

“I think we kiss on the first day or something,” she said. “Maybe the second day two? It was pretty fast, it was like: ‘Hello, imagine, now you’re in love.’ ” “

According to Butler, the characters from the original book series should have an age difference of 10 years. He noticed that Gilbert had “complete trust” in her TV father, who carefully supervised the scene.
“It was a very powerful relationship that Melissa had in her life that she had with Michael Landon,” said Butler. “When Michael said: ‘This is the type for you’, she was ready to expose all her fears and just step into her. And Michael never led someone who was wrong in the series. He really had it down. He knew what he was doing. He believed very much in his creative instincts. He trusted that it would work.”
“I am only very grateful that I was the guy he believed that he could trust him,” added Butler.

“I think many young actresses might have folded under pressure,” said Butler. “Melissa had no experience. She had never been in a date. Never kissed. Never that.
