Perret added that Lindsey worked with the authorities.
“He was not aware that the people arrested had committed crimes or that they had been accused of crimes or that they were searched for by the police for survey when he allowed them to stay in his apartment,” he added. “If he had known that the people were sought by the police for crimes or if he hadn’t been associated with them in his apartment or in any way.
“In addition, Jt Lindsey has never done anything, did not take any measures yet, no intention to accommodate, hide or help the accused, and now arrested that they were arrested to avoid arrests, convicts, convictions or punishment for their crimes that these people have been accepted without incidents.”
LSU said Lindsey’s arrest was aware of and “had no comment out of respect for the legal process”. Perret said Lindsey was initially suspended.
