Six people were pulled out of the water near Star Island in Miami Beach after a load bar had hit the sailboat in which they were, the authorities said.
The incident with two vessels occurred on Monday morning, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) confirmed Fox News Digital.
“All six victims, an adult woman and five young people, were recovered from the water and transported to A Local hospital For treatment, “said a FWC spokesman in a statement.
