Mitsubishi-fuso starts a large global setting campaign


The Japanese manufacturer of commercial vehicles Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) has launched its biggest worldwide recruitment campaign “Mid-Career” in the countries in Asia, in the Middle East and Europe. The company, a majority care of Germany’s Daimler Truck AG, would like to hire professional staff before its planned merger with Hino Motors.

MFTBC is 89.29% of Daimler Truck AG, with the remaining 10.71% of its shares being held by various companies in the Mitsubishi group. The merger with Hino is to be officially completed at the end of the current financial year in March 2026.

MFTBC confirmed that in his business in Japan, the United Arab Emirates and Portugals in the areas of research and development (F&E), supply chain and quality management, procurement, international sale and aftersales, finance, law and compliance as well as human resources were made available to more than 300 new positions.

The truck manufacturer said that it aims to strengthen the Fuso brand with Hino before the company fusion, whereby after the merger has been completed the worldwide, further jobs are created globally, since the global commercial vehicle industry uses the challenges related to case technology trends and lack of driver.

MFTBC announced that it has a diverse global workforce, with more than 65 different nationalities that are employed in around 170 markets worldwide. The company also claims to be the first car manufacturer in Japan in 2014, and currently offers employees in Japan the option “Flex Time” and remote work.
