Morice Norris taken by ambulance as Lions-Falcons game ends early

The pre -season game by Detroit Lions Vs. Atlanta Falcons came to a gloomy standstill on Friday evening when Lions Safety Morice Norris made a hard shot in the head.

Norris was fought for about 20 minutes and removed from the field in an ambulance. The game ended with 6:31 after the players let the clock run.

Norris was injured with 14:50 to tackle Nathan Carter. There was no immediate report on the injury.

When the game was resumed, the Falcons Quarterback Emory Jones made a snapshot and then recorded the ball when the players of both teams were at the limit of the scrimmage and the clock continued. Finally, an official announced with 6:31 that the game was suspended “per New York”.

The Lions led 17-10 when they were played.

Lions coach Dan Campbell addressed the incident at the press conference after the game.

“He breathes, he talks. It’s good. He has a movement,” said Campbell. “Now you will simply carry out more tests.”

Lions Quarterback Kyle Allen said reporters said that he prayed for Norris and added: “Sometimes it’s a terrible game.”

“I don’t think someone wanted to play on this sidelines,” said Allen. “We were not part of this decision, but they could just look into the eyes of everyone and see that it was not worth it.”

The 24-year-old Norris joined Fresno State in 2024 as a not submitted free agent. He spent time with Detroit’s exercise command before he came into the active list last season and appeared in two games.
