The patient situation between six-time Pro-Bowler Myles Garrett And the Cleveland Browns reached new heights this week when reports on a meeting appeared that ultimately did not happen.
Last month the Star Pass -rusher recently informed the Browns about his wish to be traded to another team. Garrett then asked to meet the Browns owner Jimmy Haslam.

According to NFL Network, Haslam refused to meet with Garrett. Haslam then showed Garrett in the direction of Brown’s general manager Andrew Barry, per Cleveland.com.

In a statement in which he announced his trade request, Garrett said that he preferred to land with a candidate next season. “The goal was never to go from Cleveland to Canton, it was always to fight and win for a super bowl,” he said.
Garrett doubled these feelings and came to the conclusion that they were not “aligned” with the direction of the franchise.

“I have a lot of love for Cleveland, but it’s always for me around me [competing] For championships, the win of these big games and the winning of Lombardis, “said Garrett in February to NFL Network.” We didn’t have the opportunity. This is all I ask. “

The browns ended the last season with a 3: 14 Deshaun watson Rehabilitation, after he recently torn his Achilles tendon for the second time. Watson initially tore his right Achilles in October.

The Browns’ brass explained that they would not exchange the NFL defensive player in 2023 of the year. Head coach Kevin Stefanski previously said Garrett was “part of the present. He is part of the future”.
Garrett has two years in his contract with the team.
