Goodell was asked for the commitment of the league for diversity at the press conference.
“We dealt with diversity because we had the feeling that it was the right thing for the National Football League, and we will continue these efforts because we have not only convinced ourselves, we have proven that it did it Better, “said Goodell. “We are not there because it is a trend to get in or a trend to get out of it.

“As many of us, including the National Football League in our office, do this voluntarily at all levels because it benefits us. And I hear that from companies on a global basis. This is a very strong attitude practice that we also accept. “
