The Americans coast are hurrying to get real ID cards, while many motor vehicle offices strive to record appointments.

Some Americans are considering alternatives if they have difficulty receiving DMV appointments to get the new identification.
Real ID term added when the residents of New Jersey have difficulty getting a new identification
On Monday in New Jersey, the department of Motor vehicles (NJDMV) website showed “0 appointments” for real ID services on their website. It has now added additional time windows.
Virginia DMVS started Saturday events for people to get their real IDs while some offices in California have extended their hours.

Other forms of identification that are accepted instead of a real ID are A valid US passport or pass card; DHS trustworthy travel cards such as the global entry; Department of Defense IDS; Constant -based cards; and border crossing maps.
For those who do not have these IDs at hand, some AAA branches offer services in six states to maintain a real ID.
In New Jersey there are no “real ID” dates open while the residents turn: “Get with the Times, NJ”
“In Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York, DMV/RMV services are free of charge at AAA branches for all AAA members,” says the AAA website.
“In Connecticut, AAA members pay 6 US dollars for DMV services and non-members $ 8 outside of AAA Northeast Territory,” adds the website.

There are no additional costs for the real ID itself on the website.
“If not at renewal, only the standard duplicate license fees apply,” says the website.
“AAA offers DMV services in 22 states that are submitted by Vehicle registrationsTitles, tags, license extensions, issue of new licenses and/or real ID, “an AAA spokesman told FOX News Digital on Wednesday.
“I have the pass card in addition to my book and I just wear it.”
“Of these 22 states, 6 states offer real ID services: FL, KS, MA, MN, OH and RI. Regulations for private organizations that offer DMV services (and offer the type of services), vary from the state,” added the speaker.
AAA has no plans to post DMV services in additional states, according to the organization.

The processing time for an accelerated passport is two to three weeks with additional fees, according to the website of the Foreign Ministry.
