Singer SZA struck White House on social media on Wednesday for using her song in an X post promoting the Trump administration’s deportation agenda.

The White House video showed images of ICE officers handcuffing illegal immigrants, accompanied by SZA’s lyrics: “It’s bondage season and all the girls are going to get a big boy.”
The government report played into the text with the post’s headline: “We hear he’s tying up SZN. Bad news for criminal illegal immigrants. Great news for America.”
When asked for comment on SZA’s response, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson responded Variety said“Thank you, SZA, for bringing even more attention to the tremendous work America’s ICE officers are doing arresting dangerous criminal illegal aliens from American communities.”

SZA’s response is just the latest high-profile rebuke of the Trump administration’s social media posts. Pop star Sabrina Carpenter stormed the White House earlier this month for another pro-ICE video featuring her song “Juno.”
Comment on the clip: Carpenter wrote“This video is evil and despicable. Don’t ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.”
Jackson responded to Carpenter at the time and made several references to the pop star’s discography.
“Here’s a short and sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: We will not apologize for deporting dangerous illegal murderers, rapists and pedophiles from our country. Anyone who would defend these sick monsters must be stupid, or is that slow?”

Singer of “Driver’s License”. Olivia Rodrigo also lashed out last month at a U.S. Department of Homeland Security Instagram post that used her song “All American B—-.” The video urged illegal immigrants to deport themselves from the United States.
“Never use my songs to promote your racist, hateful propaganda,” Rodrigo wrote.
Asked to comment on Rodrigo’s statement, a DHS spokesperson told Fox News Digital: “America is always grateful to our federal law enforcement officers who keep us safe. We suggest that Ms. Rodrigo thank them for their service and not belittle their victims.”
