The best sleeping plates for campsites – our most convenient picks (2025)

Honorable mention

The following sleeping pads did not impress us as much as above, but we would still recommend them if none of the others put their imagination.

Kelty kush queen air for $ 100 airy: This PVC-free queen-size bed from Kelty contains a pump that makes the inflation of snapshots (make sure you charge it before you walk), and the 6-inch thick pad is plenty of comfortable. It is not an isolated air mattress like the ripe, so it is best for warmer months, but it can earn at home as a whole bed.

Sleep pads to avoid

Not every sleeping pad is a winner. We have tested and pushed problems with the following models.

Exped flexmat plus: What if the cheap, light and indestructible foam mats with closed cell mats such as the legendary Z-REST and RIDGERREST … It’s a funny idea, but that Exped flexmat plus is a noble failure. The problem with this extra thick, 1.5-inch mat with closed cell is that the foam is hard and pointed, although it is relatively light, cheap and indestructible. And by “Spikey” we think that it is literally only spikes that suffocate them in the sleeping stitch. Fans say it requires a break -in period. After six nights, the reviewer Martin Cizmar asked the Dungeon Guard for the publication.

Big Agnes Q-Core: Q-Core pads are comfortable out of the box, with impressive R-value and weight statistics for the price. However, you should avoid them. The unique offset-i-beam construction, which makes this pad so light and comfortable, is somewhat notorious for the failure of what Cizmar happened after about a year of use. In our experience, which resume other reviews, the welds that hold the upper and surface together must be susceptible to fall apart. After adding air, you have a large lump that grows over time, and tape cannot repair it.

Expedle Deepsleep: If you think about an inflatable expedition, but do not fully stand up for it Megamat 10You may be inclined to try out the thinner and cheaper Deepsleep. Don’t do it. The Deepsleep Is 3 inches thick instead of 4, but you will feel customs in your bones. The Deepsleep has a robust 75-denier fabric at the top and bottom of the soft and stretchy 50-denter polyester, which you can find on the top of the megamat and some competitors. The Deepsleep is a robust mattress and is probably fine for some people, but it is not the Exped experience that most of the sleepers are looking for. Stay at the megamat. – Martin Cizmar

Klymit Static V2: Klymit’s Budget inflatable is popular with unfoot -weeks -warriors because of its price (approx. 50 US dollars) and impressive weight (1 pound). In fact, I bought one for my now 10-year-old daughter when we ventured into the hinterland for the first time, with her things on my back. She didn’t complain Z-Lite. The Z-Lite weighs a few ounces less, and you don’t have to worry if you pierce it. The more expensive inflatable beds are great at the top, but if you are looking for a slight budget selection, I would stay with the cell foam closed.
