Brian Kelly started “The Points Guy” to help people maximize their credit card points and miles for better travel Experiences.
“My passion is to help people maximize their points and miles so that they can travel better,” Kelly told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview.
The dot Guy is a website on which travelers expand their experiences and also receive tips on all trips. Apart from aircraft miles and credit card points, the website answers all the questions that travelers may have so that they can feel prepared and encouraged to travel.
Kelly’s passion for travel and his interest in maximizing Dot started as a child in the nineties.
“My father got a job for a startup. We lived outside of Philadelphia. And so he traveled from Philadelphia to La every other week. While it was difficult for us as children that he could not play every basketball game, the silver strip is from everything that he got many frequent flying miles. When I was 12 years old, he challenged me: ‘Hey, if you can find out how to use them, our six six years would go on vacation free of charge.’ ”
Kelly decided that the family would visit the Cayman Islands after being inspired by the book “The company” by John Grisham.
Almost forward until 2010, when Kelly began the point Guy as a blog, which expanded to become a company with employees around the world. Kelly started the Points Guy after using points in the entire college and young adult life and gained experience such as first-class aircraft seats by often using a short budget.
“While we still concentrate a lot on points and credit cards, we cover everything when traveling, from cruises to themed parks. We want to make travelers use their experience optimally. So if there are smart ways to book things, get discounts, get cheap tariffs- and I also like to think that we generally give life as it is loyalty.
Kelly wrote the book “How to Win At Travel” to answer the selection of questions that travelers have, from travel tips to fear of fear.
“It was 15 years ago since I started the point type,” he said. “And although we have helped millions and millions of people to be worth it from the system, there are still so many people who are overwhelmed. Now there is almost too much information on social media and online where it is new for someone who is new to approach in a way that makes sense.

“Playing the point is not just about traveling. It’s about investing in your personal person financial success“, he said.
