Seattle. Day two. And things get very, very bad. The fifth episode of The last of us Season two continued Ellie and Dina’s trip through SeattleOn the hunt for Abby, The woman who killed Joel. And you finally have a lead. One of Abby’s friends is located in a nearby hospital. You only have to get through a city through a raging war between a great military presence in the WLF and a dangerous religious group called Serephite or scars. Both would shoot Ellie this week, but in the end there would be Ellie to give the shots One of the best scenes in Last of us Story until now.
Before the story could change, however, The last of us I started again with the WLF. Soldiers are awkward in a hospital as Hanrahan, who was founded in the previous episode as one of the leaders of the previous episode, with Sgt. Park, the woman who eliminates the hospital. Park looks absolutely drained and defeated when she explains that things went well until her soldiers started cleaning the basement. In the basement, especially at level B2, a group, which someone named Leon, began to meet the fatal vegetation on the walls. Five minutes later, Leon Sgt. Park said that the disease was in the air and to seal it. What they did. Hanrahan says Park that she dealt with the situation “heroic and permanently” before adding: “I’m sorry for her son.” Yes, Leon mentioned above was Sgt. It is a scene that once again humanized the WLF, even though they are set up as the evil in Ellie’s search for Abby. A search that is very supported, but the fact that the WLF speaks freely on the Walkie-Talkie, she and Dina stolen the past night. Dina uses to find out when and how to sneak through the city undetected.
As soon as Dina cheats on the way, you and Ellie go on the way. Her goal is to find the hospital where you believe that you will find Nora, one of Abby’s friends who were in Jackson when they killed Joel. This runs well for about two minutes until you realize that the building literally crawls with intelligent infection, similar to Ellie back in Jackson. Ellie knows that there was only one of them at that time, and she didn’t get out without prejudice at that time. Now, at least half a dozen of them, she doesn’t like her chances.
The thing “no weapons” immediately goes out of the window when Ellie tries to attract the attention of infection from the much endangered Dina. It works for a second, but these infected are fast, strong and about 10 seconds when you killed both girls when other shots ring. From nowhere it is Jesse who saves the girls and takes a break for it while the WLF is hunting.
Jesse, Dina and Ellie make it into a park in which the WLF stops and refuses to go in. This is a bad sign. We learn that Jesse and Tommy Ellie and Dina followed one day after their departure to Seattle (without permission) and found out where they would thank Dina’s card back in the theater. Unfortunately, you don’t get too much more information because the whistle begins. That is not good again. This park is a scarred area and something goes down.
The trio watch when the scars tie a member of the WLF together and earn it because he promises that he has no information about Isaac’s plans. While watching shocked, an arrow comes out of the dark and pierces Dina through the leg. Jesse grabs her and runs while Ellie goes on her own way and narrowly escapes the scars again. (By the way, if you ever need a memory of that The last of us is based on a video game, it was this episode in which the characters encounter something bad, fight, follow and then keep escaping.)
Ellie then sees something in the distance. It is the hospital you and Dina searched for, and although her friends went home without her, she decides to take ahead. Ellie Nora finds in the hospital in the appearing nanoseconds (at least far too quickly than we do not mention). Nora cannot believe what she sees and tells Ellie how much Joel’s death influenced her. Which is a lie. Then she says that “the bitch has what he deserves” when she throws Ellie chemicals and does a run for it.
However, it got really good here. Ellie chases Nora through the hospital and avoids all possible WLF shots on the way. But because of the closed basement that we heard from the beginning of the episode, Nora is caught. It jumps into the elevator shaft and quickly finds itself on B2. Ellie not only follows and sees the fatal flora everywhere, but also spots of something in the air. Leon Park, whom we still see half alive, was right. The disease is in the air and Nora is infected.
Ellie finds her at the end of a hall and Nora laughs. She believes that they are both dead. “You stupid bitch,” says Nora. “We breathe in spores. We are infected. They both killed us.” “I have?” A scary confident Ellie answers. Then Nora realizes who is Ellie. She is the immune girl you heard about. The immune girl who wanted to save everyone in the hospital attacked Joel. And at that moment she tells Ellie what Joel did. This Joel killed everyone in the hospital, including the only person in the world who could have made a healing. And this person was Abby’s father.
“I know,” says Ellie Kalt. It is a shocking moment, because up to this point we assumed that Ellie didn’t know what Joel was doing. His actions and subsequent lie are a cloud that has been preventing the show and its relationship since the end of last season. But we can see it in Ellie’s eyes. She act knowledge. And somehow she agrees. She continues to press Nora on Abby, but Nora will not stir. So Ellie grabs a pipe and begins to smash it and commit a kind of torture that we didn’t know about it was capable of
The moment of pure hatred in Ellie is quickly cut off and it is back in Jackson. She wakes up and Joel is there. What the hell could mean that? What it means is that Ellie Nora tortures when we see her in her worst.
Although the fifth episode of The last of us The second season was a little repeat, it was worth it for this incredible moment of revelation and tension when Ellie finally came to face with one of Joel’s murderer. But not the one she is looking for. Not yet.
