Tim Walz says he was joking when he cheered Tesla’s stock falling: ‘These people have no sense of humor’

At first he was a “Knucklead”, now he is a “Smarta …”.

Minnesota Gov. Tim WalzA democrat said on Saturday that he made a joke when he made a comment last week, who mocked Tesla and his CEO Elon Musk for the recent downward trend of the company on the stock exchange.

Walz tried to clarify his comments in a town hall in Rochester, Minnesota.

“This guy annoys me in a way that is probably unhealthy,” said Walz, referring to Musk. “I have to be careful when I am a smarta-I have made a joke. These people have no sense of humor. They are the most literally people.”

“But my point was, they are all crazy and I said something that I shouldn’t have about a company,” he continued.

At the beginning of the week, the governor organized an event in Wisconsin when he mocked Tesla’s falling stock.

“Some of them know that. On the iPhone you have this little stock app. I added Tesla to give myself a small thrust during the day -225 US dollars and fall,” said Walz. “And if you own one, we do not accuse you. You can take dental floss and pull off the Tesla thing.”

From March, Tesla’s share is a decline of 41.4%.

In a protest against Musk for his role in the government of President Donald Trump, there were a number of recent vandalism incidents on Tesla vehicles.

“Maybe it’s just me. When I’m the richest man in the world, I’m on the streets and distributed money,” he added. “It would be damn a lot of fun to help people. They go out. Not this type.”
