president Donald Trump If an American Russian ballerina will be organizing in the White House on Monday, about a month after the Trump government secured its release from a Russian prison, Fox News has learned.
Ksenia Karelina, a former ballerina, was sentenced to 12 years in a Russian criminal colony in a Russian criminal colony in 2024. The 33-year-old was released and returned to the United States on April 10th with a US Russian prison exchange, Fox previously reported.

An official of the White House confirmed Fox Digital on Monday that Karelina will visit the White House on Monday afternoon.

Karelina, who is a US citizen, was born in Russia And had lived and worked in Los Angeles at the time of her arrest. She visited her family in Yekaterinburg, Russia in 2024, when the Russia’s federal security service, the top security agency of the Landes-Ihr phone inspected and found that she donated around $ 50 to a charity based in the USA that works to support Ukraine, Fox Digital previously reported.

Karelina was brought back to the United States to publish the United States when Arthur Petrov, a dual German Russian citizen, was accused of exporting sensitive US electronics to the Russian military. Karelina’s family celebrated her publication last month. Her former stepmother Eleonra Srebroski told Fox News at the time that she was “euphoric” about the prisoner exchange while she praised Trump for the release.
“My spirit is high. We are very happy. This is beyond all emotions … that is healing,” said Srebroski. “We put a lot of hope in the Trump administration and knew that she would be after Marc Fogel. We support Trump even more.”
Karelina’s friend Chris van Heerden, told the New York Post After her release in April, the couple endeavored to meet Trump and thank him.

“We have to thank him really personally. If the time is right, she would like to meet him and I would like to shake his hand because he brought the love of my life back. And I’m not in politics,” said Van Heerden at the time to the outlet.
“I asked the Biden administration for a whole year to bring Ksenia back. It became clear to me about seven months that this would not happen. You won’t do it for me. I had believed and I really believed that as President Trump came to power, he could do it,” he added.

Karelina’s publication follows the Trump Administration In February another prisoner exchange contract with Russia, which was released by the US citizens and teacher Marc Fogel, who had been in Russian care since 2021 when he was arrested at an airport for the possession of marijuana.
