Left twitch streamer Hasan Piker Defended communism as the “honorable end goal” of socialism and the redistribution of goods into the working class on Wednesday.
Piker sat down with the comedian Hasan Minhaj in his podcast, where the two progressive issues discussed, including the definition of socialism.
“Socialism redesigned classifying politics that we currently have from the capital owner and have both the means of production and practically every facet of power and distributes it back into the largest class in a democratic way,” said Piker.

Piker, a 33-year-old Turkish-American commentator who lives in California and grew up in Istanbul, is a former producer of the left internet comment program “The Young Turks” and the nephew of his co-creator Cenk Uygur. His Twitch streams regularly have over one million views and often have up to 30,000 spectators at a certain point in time.
