“Yes, I mean, I had a lot of ups and downs in my career, especially this year. I made a mistake that I deeply regret. I am very sorry for what happened,” Clark said on Thursday at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut when he was asked to comment on what was going on in the Oakmont -Locker area.

“But I would also like to continue, not only for myself, but also for Oakmont, for the USGA and the type of focus on the rest of the year and for things that appear.”

Clark ended the opening round at the Travelers Championship on Thursday at 64.
